Brandi Beins
Biographical Info
Brandi joined the Lynn Institute in 2022 and helped to launch the Hope Strategies division in July of 2023. Brandi’s interest in the Science of Hope began before she had a name for it. Her experience as a foster parent opened her eyes to the hope-depleting effects of trauma that can follow a person for a lifetime. Her training in trauma-informed care became an invaluable tool in caring for the children in her home. It was also helpful as she served in her church and community. Like most of us, she was utilizing the Science of Hope without realizing it. When Brandi became a Hope Navigator, she learned how to take trauma understanding to the next level. Hope is the process for moving toward well-being, no matter your history. Two years after becoming a certified Hope Navigator, Brandi also became a certified Trauma-Informed Care Practitioner, and a certified ACEs Trainer. Her passion for the Science of Hope and for being trauma-responsive, bring value and insight to Hope Strategies trainings and programming. Brandi graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sterling College with a degree in Communications and also in Religious & Philosophical Studies. After college, she married her husband, James. They have 5 amazing kids, 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 frogs, and a flock of chickens.
