Executive director of The Lighthouse Foundation, designing and delivering curriculum to support underserved communities to shift trauma to love and assisting individuals and communities to navigate their trauma and build resilient futures. I have been developing evidence-based, trauma-informed programs that support our vulnerable youth and families affected by adverse childhood experiences and other life impacting traumatic events. I love presenting at conferences and anywhere that I can inform the public about ACES, trauma and mindfulness. I have worked in Louisiana developing training at-risk BIPOC communities in Louisiana for children crime victims and their caregivers from funding from the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement. I have been a developer of presentations/curriculum/trainings in all facets of my adult career. As an engineer working for companies like IBM, AlliedSignal and Honeywell, I developed training as Quality Assurance Expert and Process Improvement Six Sigma Black Belt Trainer. I was also a principal on \small team developing/deploying Six Sigma Software Curriculum for 3000 Honeywell software engineers worldwide. As the co-founder of a software engineering business, EmbeddedPlus Engineering, I have presented at many National Conferences including IEEE on emerging technology including as a keynote speaker at DoD conferences to speak on Overcoming Adversity and Building Resilience for Small Business. I am a certified 200-hour meditation trainer for international organization along with being a National Master NATH Certified Hypnosis Trainer for the state of Arizona and Southern California. I love being a Certified Mind, Body, Spirit Facilitator, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and Coach, and certified facilitator of The Center of Mind Body Medicine (CMBM) . I am honored to be a Certified Arizona Consortium ACEs Trainer.
