Biographical Info
Robin Blumenthal served for over 20 years as a children's pastor before learning about ACEs. During the past 4 years, her learning regarding trauma and ACEs as transformed her life and it is now her passion and privilege to do trainings, speaking, and writing. Robin has a BS in Child Development and a MA in Human Resource Leadership. She has been an Independent Facilitator of the Love and Logic® Curricula since 2006, including their newest trauma-informed curriculum, "Adults Supporting Youth with Challenging Pasts™".
Robin is the Tucson Region leader for the Arizona Trauma Informed Faith Community and serves as the Training Committee Leader for the Southern AZ Trauma Informed Network. She also started and leads the annual Reclaiming Hope Trauma Conference.
In November, 2020, her observance of a wide-range of community reactions to COVID-19 led her to publish a children's book on trauma, Where in the Zoo Are you? Robin and her husband have 4 grown daughters and in 2019, adopted a teenager, Angel, from the foster care system. Angel teaches them daily how understanding trauma is life-changing.
